VR GP / Whitsundays Region - A lifestyle-focused way to practice medicine

The Clinic and Role:
• Two well-established sister clinics - one beachside and one in central local township in the Whitsundays region
• Strong mix of patient demographics - ageing population, younger families, local residents, and seasonal visitors
• High demand for health assessments, ATSI health checks, licence medicals, and chronic disease care
• Optional nursing home work available
• Skin is a key area of demand - high volume of skin checks, biopsies, excisions (including advanced grafts and flaps)
• Well equipped facilities - dedicated treatment room, care plan room, ECG, spirometry and audiometry
• Two registered nurses on site daily providing excellent clinical support
• BP software used
• Admin support includes 2-3 receptionists with a Practice Manager across both sites
• Affiliated with the local hospital (excellent referral network to help and support you in the GP clinic)
• Capacity to work in both clinics - choose what works for you
• Vacant position due to one of the long-standing doctors relocating
You:
• MBBS or equivalent
• Current AHPRA registration

• Comfortable working independently within a collegial, supportive team
• Interest in chronic disease, procedural work, or skin would be highly valued
