Spend your weekends strolling along beautiful white sand beaches, go fossicking for shells or catch a fish for dinner. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets and camp overnight under the stars. Watch the turtle nesting at Eighty Mile Beach in the summer months and see millions of migratory birds on their annual journey from their Arctic breeding grounds. This is one of the world’s largest ports and watching the ships come and go in the evening from the esplanade is a local favourite pass time.
You will be working alongside 2-4 other GP’s in this Indigenous Corporation. There are over 7,000 Indigenous people registered with this service. They have an experienced team of health professionals, that include Aboriginal health workers and practitioners, GP's and Nurses who work together to improve the health outcomes of Aboriginal people. They also have visiting specialists and allied health practitioners and great administrative staff. You will work Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm with no weekends or on-call required. They use communicare software and training can be provided.
