About the role
The clinic operates extended hours (8am–8pm, 365 days a year), delivering acute and urgent care to a diverse patient population including both local residents and visitors. The environment is fast-paced, varied, and clinically engaging, with a strong emphasis on safe, timely, and effective patient care.

The service is an accredited Urgent Care training facility recognised by the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care, providing a supportive environment for clinicians working within or progressing through the Urgent Care Fellowship pathway.

The team is close-knit and highly supportive, with strong clinical leadership and a shared commitment to clinical excellence, teaching, and ongoing professional development. The case mix is broad and ensures a consistently interesting and dynamic scope of practice.
