Are you an experienced GP who is keen to keep your ED skills up to date? If so I have a great opportunity in WA. This role will require, morning, evening and night shifts on a rostered basis. There will be a FACEM onsite and available via telephone at night. You will be supported by experienced nurses in this 126 bed regional hospital. Interstate flights, furnished accommodation and a car will be provided. For this role you must be comfortable with the management of life threatening emergencies through experience.
This area is known for wild bottlenose dolphins that often swim close to the beach. Nearby is the Dolphin Discovery Centre and the Leschenault Inlet, with calm waters and parkland rich with mangroves and birdlife. The produce of this region is renowned for its quality and abundance of choice. There are growers markets and great restaurants to make your stay in this region perfect. The climate is warm and temperate making it the perfect summer working holiday destination.
- FRACGP or equivalent.
- Registration with AHPRA.
- Current emergency medicine certificate (ALS, REST, ACCRM, REACT etc.).
- Current WA WWCC and national police clearance.
