An opportunity has become available for a General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established, community-focused primary care provider delivering holistic, culturally responsive healthcare across New Plymouth and Waitara.

About the role You'll provide high-quality primary healthcare to a diverse enrolled population while working as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team committed to improving health outcomes across the community.
This is a collaborative environment where you'll work closely with fellow clinicians, nursing teams, pharmacy services and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic, person-centred care. You'll have the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients while contributing to innovative models of care that extend well beyond the traditional GP consultation.


Ideally, you'll have:

• Experience in primary, community or urgent care
• Current or eligible for the Annual Practising Certificate
• Experience working in primary care or a comparable healthcare setting
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering equitable healthcare
• An appreciation for holistic models of care and working alongside diverse communities
