The Clinic and Role:
- Community-controlled organisation operating 3 clinics across the Gold Coast
- Current recruitment due to recent GP retirements and patient demand
- Locations close to QLD/NSW border and further up Gold Coast
- Multidisciplinary team:
- Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Enrolled Nurses (ENs)
- Aboriginal Health Workers
- Allied Health onsite:
- Child & adult psychology
- Podiatry
- Audiometry
- Dietetics
- Additional specialist support (cardiology, endocrinology, paediatrics, diabetes education, social health)
- Team structure:
- 5 GPs across sites (mix of full-time and part-time)
- Typically 2 GPs onsite daily
- Clinic hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm, optional later session 10:30am - 6:30pm
- Patient-facing hours: 9:00am - 3:30/4:00pm
- Structured appointments: 30-minute consults with 3 admin blocks daily
- Leadership support onsite: General Manager, Senior Manager, Practice Manager
- Focus on holistic, culturally appropriate care, chronic disease management, and health checks
You
- MBBS or equivalent
- Current AHPRA registration
- VR GP, including doctors under moratorium
- Interest in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health
- Committed to high-quality, patient-centred care
- Interest in chronic disease management and preventative health
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary environment
