You will be working alongside one other GP in this friendly and established Aboriginal Medical Centre. The hours are Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm with no on-call or weekends required. You will be supported by experienced chronic care nurses, indigenous health workers and administration staff. This is a busy corporation owed clinic where you will see 20 - 40 patients per day.
This is the largest town in the heart of NSW and is home to approx, 3,500 people. It lies on the banks of the Lachlan River, an hour from Parkes. You’ll find wonderful things to do and see from fishing on Australia’s fourth-longest river, water sports to intriguing sculptures, cultural heritage and exciting events. Just outside the town is Gum Bend Lake, a popular waterway for waterskiing, windsurfing and sailing. There is a dedicated swimming area and picnic tables, free barbecues and other amenities. If you are travelling with the kids they will love the children’s playground and shared cycling and walking track into town.
